Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, speak freely, and show up exactly as you are. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or curious about your inner world, therapy offers a relationship to support meaningful and lasting change.
Usually, it involves meeting weekly. Weekly sessions give you a steady rhythm of staying close to the thoughts, emotions, and experiences you’re working through, and enough time out-of-session to integrate changes that are unfolding for you. There also may be times when meeting more or less makes sense.
My approach to individual therapy is grounded in psychoanalytic work. We explore both your current experiences and the deeper emotional patterns that shape your life. Psychoanalytic therapy does not follow a script—it is a collaborative, unfolding process where we explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships, fears, and longings as they emerge.
As we talk, we begin to notice the emotional themes and relational habits that may be keeping you confined or disconnected—from yourself, from others, or from the life you want to live. Therapy offers the opportunity to build a relationship that is attuned, respectful, and open that can support healing at the nervous system level. Over time, many people find they feel more alive, more connected, and more able to be themselves in a fuller way.
