Are you accepting new clients?

Yes, I am currently accepting new clients.

Where do you see patients?

I see patients at an office in Asheville and virtually. I am licensed in North Carolina–NC Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate: P022049. 

Who do you work with?

I work with adults and adolescents, as individuals, as couples, and in groups. I work with those over age 13. 

How long are sessions, how often do you meet, and what is the cost?

Individual and couples sessions are 50 minutes. Many people find that weekly sessions work best, but there is flexibility to meet more or less frequently. My single session fee is $150 for individuals and $165 for couples. Group sessions are 80 minutes and meet weekly on an ongoing basis. The group fee is $60 per week.

For individual, couples, and group sessions, I have reduced fee spots in my schedule to serve people with diverse socio-economic circumstances. 

How can I pay?

I accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and payments through Zelle and health savings accounts.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance directly currently, but I am in process with and expect to be an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna in July or August of this year (2025).

At your request provide a detailed receipt for you to request out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance for our sessions. You would pay at the time of service and would be provided a statement that you could use to submit to your insurance carrier for direct reimbursement to you. Check with your insurance company on what reimbursement they provide for out-of-network mental health services provided by associate licensed clinical social workers (LCSWAs).

Can I reach you outside of sessions?

I do not provide 24/7 on-call service. I strive to be responsive and prompt to all email, phone and text correspondence with those I work with.
